Information We Collect

We collect data in the following ways:

Through our online forms
Through your use of our website
We may collect and store two types of information: “personal information” and “technical information.”

Personal information tells us who you are and may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth or age, and any personal preferences you choose to provide.

Technical information is information that we collect automatically whenever you interact with our Site such as your IP address, and the web browser you use. An IP address is a number assigned to your computer when you connect to the Internet. Each time you visit our Site, our web server may automatically recognize and collect this information. Technical information also includes “cookies” and “web beacons”.

A “cookie” is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Among other things, cookies provide a means for us to keep track of your online patterns and preferences. By understanding which areas of our Site you visit, cookies allow us to present information and services that are of personal interest. A cookie will not allow us to learn any personal information (such as your real name and address) that you have not otherwise disclosed. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can change your browser so that it will not automatically accept cookies. However, if you do so, it is possible that some portions of our sites may not function as intended.

Please be advised that this site uses Google Analytics Advertising to capture demographics and interests data. You can opt out of the Google Analytics Advertising features through Ads Settings, Ad Settings for mobile apps, or by using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on found at this link:

“Web beacons”, also known as clear GIFs or single-pixel GIFs, are small image files that we may place on web pages and within web-based email newsletters that we send. Working in conjunction with cookies, web beacons allow us to accurately count the number of unique users who have visited a specific page and the number of times those pages are displayed.

We may associate technical information with your personal information. In the event of such association, such technical information will be considered personal information.

We use this information:

For the specific purpose it was provided, for example to respond to your inquiries

Dear Valued Guest,

It’s been a difficult few months, and we’ve felt the strain on our community. Our passion is creating incredible dessert experiences and serving them to you in our beautiful space; due to the stay-at-home order we’ve been unable to do that.

But that order is ending!

Soon we will be baking, icing, molding, and preparing beautiful desserts for you to enjoy. Your safety will be paramount as we make the transition to reopening. We will continue to re-evaluate our plan and timing based on relevant circumstances. We will continue to make decisions based on the safety of our team, the service to our customers, and the responsibility we have toward our community.

Check back here and follow us on Instagram @edwardsdessertkitchen for more updates.

Please continue to be safe, slow down, and get outside,

Warm Regards,
Your Edwards Dessert Kitchen team
